I have been a Home Teacher all my life. This has been a hard assignment for me with some families. My own feelings of inadequacy have been my stumbling block. I have found it hard to communicate without a message to give and feel grateful now (1982) that we have the monthly messages of the First Presidency in the Ensign to use. Though this has been a hard thing for me I'm trying to do it anyway as I've been asked.
